New special Mandriva Linux release now available!
As you know Mandriva has decided to launch new updated distributions
exclusively for Mandriva Club members, every two months, except when a
full release is due.
The first version was "Special Mandriva Club KDE 3.4, 32 bits
version", which is available via Bittorrent, or HTTP/FTP mirrors on
request.
Today the 64 bit version is comming up and is also available via
Bittorrent, or HTTP/FTP mirrors on request.
This version is based on the Limited Edition 2005 which turned out to
be a great success, with several positive reviews. It includes Amarok
and Kdemultimedia. This special version is only available for Club
members, you will not find it on the Mandriva Store or in other
channel.
Additionally, we added the KDE 3.4 packages on the club for members
who only want to update their LE 2005 without downloading again the CDs
KDE 3.4 Highlights at a glance:
* Text-to-speech system with support built into Konqueror, Kate,
KPDF and the standalone application KSayIt
* Support for text to speech synthesis is integrated with the
desktop
* Completely redesigned, more flexible trash system
