Ho da poco installato mandriva 2007.1 Free x86_64, ho provato ad attivare il desktop 3D ma il decoratore delle finistre non mi funziona ne emerald ne aquamarine, da cosa può dipendere?
Ho nvidia 8500GT, con driver : nvidia 100.14.03
emerald non lavora con 2007.1 x86_64

Anche a me il desktop 3D funziona perfettamente, ma non vedo il decorato finestra : emerald o aquamarine che sia, da cosa può dipendere il problema?

Verifica se hai installato tutte le dipendenze.

Io per vedere il decoratore finestre devo avere beryl-manager attivo... non so se sia nella normalità, ma aprendolo funziona tutto bene... Non appena lo chiudo, invece, le finestre tornano nuovamente non decorate... Ho messo beryl-manager in esecuzione automatica all'avvio di kde e ce l'ho sempre in background...

in allegato vedete il print-screen del mio problema.

purtroppo l'immagine che hai messo è molto piccola e non si vede nulla...e anche le tue informazioni sono poco esaustive.
Ad occhio se non vedi il decoratore di finestre potrebbe essere una non corretta configurazione di xorg,

Prova a commentare

e inserisci il percorso corretto di "libglx.so".
Nel mio caso, driver 1.0-9631 x86_64, nvidia geforce 440 go, ho inserito:
Load "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia96xx/libglx.so"
Anche io sono con quel driver e mi funzionano entrambi in modo perfetto... hai modificato correttamente il file xorg.conf?
