Ciao a tutti!

"Can't locate object method "new" via package "isdn_external" (perhaps you forgot to load "isdn_external"?)..."

Cosa devo fare?
Spero che riusciate a illuminarmi! 8-)

Pietro

"Can't locate object method "new" via package "isdn_external" (perhaps you forgot to load "isdn_external"?) at /usr/lib/libdrakx/network/netconnect.pm line 654, <> line 5"

...questo;

http://www.landos.ru/computers/isdn/img/ta210st.jpg

è il modem, giusto?
Da qui;

http://assistenza.tiscali.it/isdn/guide_test/asuscomlink_ta/

leggo;

Quote:

...prova a lanciare da root e in una shell (consolle) il comando;

dmesg

collega il modem e vedi cosa "ti risponde" il kernel.
Da quello che riporti sembrerebbe che il kernel abbia effettivamente visto il tuo modem però si "lamenta" di una qualche mancanza....forse un modulo?...non saprei perché non ho mai usato l'ISDN...uhm...prova a leggere qui, il tuo modem è dichiarato funzionante;

http://www.lilik.it/pipermail/lilik/2003-October/002478.html

Il sito di riferimento è questo;

http://www.isdn4linux.de/faq/

Thinking

Qui, invece;

http://club.mandriva.com/xwiki/bin/view/KB/ConnectIndex

:cry:

...non è necessario loggarti direttamente come root (per motivi di sicurezza sono "disabilitati"), ma è sufficiente, da utente "normale", aprire una shell, impartire il comando;

su

A questo punto (quindi da root) dai il comando;

Sempre da root (e con il modem collegato) prova a impartire il seguente comando (serve a elencare la lista di moduli caricati dal/nel kernel);

lsmod

[root@localhost pietro]# tail -f /var/log/messages

...scarica il precompilato da qui;

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/3564660/com/wvdial-1.54.0-4mdk.i586.rpm.html

Leggi anche la seconda guida, quella del wiki di Mandriva ovvero le due pagine;

http://club.mandriva.com/xwiki/bin/view/KB/ConnectCisdn

e poi;

http://club.mandriva.com/xwiki/bin/view/KB/ConnectCisdn2

così sarai più "illuminato" (alias ferrato) sull'argomento. Laughing
