allora,
ho installato i 4 pacchetti, poi ho lanciato il gioco che parte regolarmente. configuro tutto e lancio "create a game", faccio start... il gioco parte pure ma è lentissimo, ingiocabile.
provo a ridurre la definizione video (passando da 1024*768 a 800*600 e poi a 640*400) ma non cambia nulla.
secondo voi, il problema potrebbe essere legato alla scheda video o ad altro?
ci vorrei giocare perché mi sembra proprio ben fatto!

/usr/games/nexuiz.glx.real, parte una schermata nera, con delle voci che intuisco ma che non vedo e non riesco più a tornare indietro se non resettando la macchina.
se invece, da console, do:
/usr/games/nexuiz.sdl, il gioco parte e dopo aver scelto il tipo di livello, diventa lentissimo come quando lo lancio da menu. pero ottengo un output (lunghetto) in console, che posto nella speranza che possa "dirti qualcosa":

Strano che non ti dia output su glxinfo | grep 'Direct rendering', prova a lanciare semplicemente glxinfo e dai un'occhiata al suo output cercando informazioni sull'accellerazione hardware, nel caso sia disattivata potrebbe sèiegare la lentezza del gioco.
