ok..la sto provando da qualche ora..il problema fondamentale che sto riscontrando è relativo all'accelerazione 3d..a quanto pare non vi è modo di attivarla.. infatti lanciando XFdrake e scegliendo tra le opzioni
quelle relative al 3d..il server x non si avvia..qqualche suggerimento?
ps installando il driver proprietario idem il server x non parte

nb ho notato almeno sul mio pc una gestione assolutamente migliore dell'energia rispetto alla 2007.0....temperature più basse e durata della batteria raddoppiata..

Per le ATI è sempre il solito dolore, installa i driver PLF e cerca in giro le ultime configurazioni con AIGLX false

Per quando uscirà la Spring finale basta che cambi le sorgenti da Cooker a Spring.

Esistono dei repository non-free... credo che tu debba inserire anche quelli (li trovi su easyurpmi.zarb.org)

E se non erro, qualcuno in un vecchio thread (o era una news) aveva indicato un repository di applicazioni non free...

allora..ho aggiunto tutte le fonti..comprese le plfe free e non..se do il comando glxgears i valotri che ottengo sono i seguenti

mi sembra tutto ok..eppure non c'è modo di avviare beryl..metisse invece parte

ho riscontrato un'altro problema..quando inserisco un cd rom non succede nulla..sembra che non riesca a montarlo..
