Sono nuovo e saluto tutti i componenti di questo forum. Provengo da Ubuntu e vorrei provare Mandriva dopo aver letto le opinioni veramente positive di questa distro. Ho un portatile di 6 anni con AMD Sempron 3000, 1 GB di ram, e HD di 50 Gb. Ho scaricato la versione free di Mandriva 2010.1 i586 con torrent. Avviata l'installazione si fermava subito dandomi delle scritte di non compatibolità. Allora ho scaricato la versione x86_64...e naturalmente mi ha detto che non era possibile essendo il mio SO a 32 bit. qualcuno mi dice che download devo fare....in gnome? Spero che sia in italiano.

Ciao,
prova la one ,versione cd ; è una live e poi la puoi installare; devi scegliere la versione con il d.e. che ti interessa: gnome o kde. controlla la firma e masterizza alla minima velocità.
ci sono anche delle buone versioni ,con d.e. più leggeri ,Lxde o Xfce ,ma non so se sono già uscite in versione 2010.1.

prova la one http://wiki.mandriva.com/it/Scegliere_l_edizione_piu_adatta ma sopratutto controlla che l'md5sum sia corretta. devi confrontare quella nel mirror con quella che risulta da konsole così:

md5sum /percorso/nome.iso

La rileva anche PclinuxOs che se non sbaglio deriva da Mandriva...però non mi piace. mandriva è veramente una bella distro..non pensavo.

prova a digitare (da root)

e dicci se si vede qaulche errore..
