ecco la descrizione:
Drip is a DVD to DIVX conversion application. It's made up out two applications: a DVD reader and a DIVX encoder. The reader is a GUI for the GNOME environment, the DIVX encoder a text mode tool. You wont have to learn to use the textmode tool, because the GUI also is a frontend for it. Most features are supported, but the project is still in Beta phase, so expect to find bugs. Drip is not yet usable for NTSC (Region1) DVDs because those are prepared differently as PAL DVDs.

C'e' l'ottimo dvd::rip.. dotato di mille configurazione (puoi prendere un DVD e farne quello che vuoi ) e lo trovi qui:
Esiste (o esisteva) anche acidrip, ma la home page sembra morta...cmq c'e' ancora nella cooker.
